The Women’s Evening of International Cuisine was held at St Nicks Tooting on 17th March. Around 160 guest were treated to home made dishes from around the world. Rebecca Davies spoke after dinner on ‘God’s Passion for the World‘.

A contintental breakfast at the Holy Redeemer on Saturday 15th May.

Nancy Olsen will be speaking on overcoming fear.

The morning starts at 9.30am. Cost: £2.50 for a continental breakfast. All are welcome.

Tickets for Dinners Now Available

Tickets for our Women’s Evening of International Cuisine and the Men’s Curry Nights are now on sale.

The cost of the tickets are £5 for the International Women’s Evening and £10 for the Men’s Curry Night per person. There are two ways you can book your place for the above events.

1. Participating church

Go along to one of the participating Passion for Life partner churches from Sunday and you can book through their ticket rep. Payment can be made by cash or cheque. A list of the reps and participating churches can be viewed here.

2. Telephone

If you do not attend one of the above churches but would like to book a place, you can book by telephone. For the telephone numbers, click here.

We have booked great speakers and venues for both events and places are limited, so do book soon! All of our other main events are free and you can simply turn up on the night.

‘The God Confusion’ – Tickets on Sale

Tickets are now on sale for ‘The God Confusion’, the launch event for national A Passion for Life.

The event is being held at the Excel Centre in London on Saturday 13th March from 10.15am until 4pm (doors open at 9.15am).

Here’s the pitch: “‘The God Confusion’ is a sensational chance, for sceptics and Christians alike, to clear the fog around God…World-class speakers Tim Keller (New York), Al Stewart (Sydney) and Rico Tice (London), a variety of fascinating interviews, films and musical items, short but informative lunch-time seminar options facing current challenges to faith like ‘Science’ and ‘Suffering’ and the thrill of thousands singing God’s praise – ‘The God Confusion’ promises to be an unforgettable experience.”

Rebecca Davies Speaking

We are very pleased to confirm that Dr Rebecca Davies will be the speaker at our Women’s International Evening.

Rebecca has lectured in International Politics and Relations and has worked for the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit. She currently works for the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Commons. She is a member of Hook Evangelical Church and is married to Marc.

Rebecca will be speaking on ‘God’s Passion for the World’ at our evening on Tuesday 16th March at St Nicholas Church, Tooting. It should be a great night with home cooked foods from around the world. Tickets will cost £5 and will be available in February.
