Full House Expected for Lennox

Turn up early for our evening with Professor John Lennox – that’s our advice.

We have had a huge amount of interest in the evening, which is happening tomorrow (18th) at 8pm in St Georges Medical School. We have therefore booked an extra lecture theatre, in addition to the the Monckton Lecture Theatre, with a live video link-up as an overflow. However, if you want to be sure of a place, do come early. Doors open at 7.30pm. John Lennox will be speaking on ‘Has Science Buried God?’ and will be taking our questions afterwards.

We are delighted that Professor John Lennox has agreed to speak on ‘Has Science buried God?’ at our main Thursday night event.

John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University, Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science at Green Templeton College, Oxford and Adjunct Professor of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. John is interested in the interface of Science, Philosophy and Theology and has written several books including God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? In the past two years, John has debated a number of leading atheists including Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. He is an engaging and clear speaker.

He will be speaking for us in Tooting on Thursday 18th March 2010, followed by a time of questions. The event will be FREE and open to the public. Click here for more details.
