ABOUT
John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University, Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science at Green Templeton College, Oxford and Adjunct Professor of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. John is interested in the interface of Science, Philosophy and Theology and has written several books including God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? In the past two years, John has debated a number of leading atheists including Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. He is an engaging and clear speaker.

By Tube
The nearest Tube station is Tooting Broadway (Northern Line, zone 3). St George’s is about five minutes walk from the station. THe station is not wheelchair accessable.
By Bus
Several buses stop directly outside St George’s: 155, 280, G1. More buses stop at Tooting Broadway: 44, 57, 77, 127, 133, 155, 219, 264, 270, 333, 355.
By Car
The closest major roads are the A3 from the West, M23/A23 from the South and from the East, the A2. Turn off the A24 (Tooting High Street) onto Blackshaw Road.
Parking
The visitors’ car park is accessable from Blackshaw Road. This costs £2 an hour. Alternatively you could park on one of the surrounding streets where permit restrictions and pay and display enforcement only lasts until 5.30pm (Tooting Grove, Effort Street, Hoyle Road, Coverton Road, Blackshaw Road, Maybury Street, Aldis Street are especially close)
DIRECTIONS
At St George’s Hospital, use the main entrance called ‘Grosvenor Wing Main Entrance’, next to the Marks and Spencer’s Cafe. This has wheelchair access.
Walk through the main lobby, past the Whistlestop shop and the Fundraising Office and through a double set of double doors. Carry straight on through the passage marked Medical School.
To find the Monckton lecture theatre, turn right into a corridor and then take the first turning on the left marked ‘Monckton Well’. Go to the end of this corridor and the Monckton lecture theatre will be the first door on the right
