New Direction Crew

NEW DIRECTION CREW consists of singer Elizabeth, songwriter and rapper Prince, who raps with Isasc, and writer and producer GP.  The group has been together for almost 10 years and they are steadily making their mark.  They have performed alongside top UK and US Gospel artists such as Lecrae and Micah Stampley and have appeared at Brixton Academy and on R Music TV.   Their Album ‘The Saviour’s Shadow’, features Jahaziel, G Kid, Verbswish, Jack Ellis, Mark Asari, and S.O.  They say that their sole desire is to give God the highest praise.

E.TIZZ is an up-and-coming Gospel Hip Hop artist who is rapidly becoming an established part of the British scene.  Before embarking on his own solo carrier he was ‘hype man’ for MOBO award winning artist Jahaziel and has played with artists such as Lecrae, Ambassador and Grammy award nominated Da’ Truth.  His debute album ‘Sound of My Soul’ was released this summer and features top UK artists such as GuvnaB, G-Force, SammyG, S.O and Jahaziel.  In his own words, the purpose of the project is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Rescued

THE RESCUED are a two-piece Hip Hop and R&B group including writer, producer and rapper, Si and singer and writer, Sharon.  They have supported MOBO award winning artist, Jahaziel and often do open-mic nights in South London.  The moto for their music is ‘Strictly for the King’ (Jesus Christ).

A BIG-NAME DJ in British Hip Hop will be making a surprise appearance early on in the night. Do not miss his set! (A clue to his identity is at the bottom of the page!)

Plus there will be close-up magic by Franko, a non-alcoholic bar. Hear how the groups have found new life through Jesus Christ.


Entry…

Entry is free but there will be a strict first-come-first-served policy on the door. Doors open at 7.30pm.   Arrive early to see the set by our mystery DJ and magic by Franko until 8pm.  The live music will kick from 8 to 10pm. Anyone aged over 13 is welcome.
Dress code: no stiletto heels

By Train

The nearest train station is Streatham Common (see station). Trains run regularly from Victoria and London Bridge (see times). From the station, turn right onto Streatham Vale. Churchmore Road is 5 minutes walk on the left after the aquarium shop.

By Bus

The number 60 bus towards Old Coulsdon and Streatham, and the number 118 bus towards Brixton and Morden, stop on Steatham Vale (stops VL and VJ), which is two minutes walk from Churchmore Road (see bus stop). The night bus, number N133 also stops here.

By Car

Follow the A23 from Brixton.  Look out for Streatham Common on your left.  The turning into Streatham Vale, B272, is on your right directly next to the Common.  Pass Streatham Common train station on your right and Churchmore Road is 2 minutes on your left.  There is parking on Churchmore Road.
