What next?

Where do you go after a week like A Passion for Life to find out more about the Christian faith?

Here’s a few suggestions.

Read a book.

Christianity is about Jesus Christ. The best way to find out more about him is by reading about his life in one of the gospels in the Bible.  Luke’s gospel is good place to start as it begins with the birth of Jesus.  You can read it here. It may also be helpful to read an introductory book on the Christian faith like A Fresh Start by John Chapman.  The Good Book Company sell lots of helpful books and study guides here.  See below for some more suggested titles to read.

Come to church.

Church is the best place to get your questions answered. Do talk to a Christian friend about any questions that you have and about the church they attend. There is a list of churches, their service times and contact details here. As well as teaching from the Bible every Sunday, they all run events throughout the year to help people better understand Jesus Christ.  You can find more information about these on their websites and on the  ‘local event’ section here.

Join a course.

Many churches run informal courses for people to explore Christianity like Christianity Explored. No knowledge of the Christian faith or Bible is needed. People won’t be asked to read or contribute; you can join in or simply listen. The courses are free.  You can find out more information about the course and sign up here.
